About Us

Totteridge Farm lies in the Vale of Pewsey, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in Wiltshire.  It has been the home of the Wells family for over 140 years, and is still run as a family farm, with 160 acres of arable, 60 acres of grassland and 20 acres of woodland and water-meadows.

The Wells family moved to Totteridge in 1877 as tenant farmers and purchased the property in 1946.  It remained a thriving mixed arable-and-dairy farm until 1992.  Since then it has been mainly arable, but with some grazing, haymaking, camping and contracting all contributing to the running of the business.

The farm is now run by Anthony (a.k.a. Muttley) and Caroline Wells, the fourth generation of the family to look after this beautiful part of the Wiltshire countryside.
