Totteridge Farm
Totteridge Farm Wines were produced between 2009 and 2013 in a 2-acre vineyard in the nearby hamlet of New Mill.
The vineyard was put down to 50% Pinot Noir, and a third to Phoenix - a white grape reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc, suitable for the cool English climate. The remainder was Seyval Blanc, a hybrid variety which is made into a crisp Sparkling wine.
Sadly the vineyard was shut down in 2014, as it was not commercially viable. However, we still have good stocks of wine for sale, so you can still enjoy our lovely English Wines for some years to come.
Our still wines are light and fresh - a red made with the unmistakeable Pinot Noir, but from a more robust strain which matches our cooler climate.
Our white is a deliciously fresh wine for the summer, reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc with a touch of Reisling, and a nettley hint of rural England on the nose.
For special occasions, we offer both white and rosé Brut wines which live up to the strong reputation of English Sparkling wines.

Pinot Noir
Our red wine, Pinot Noir, has a delicate raspberry bouquet, leading into an elegant and well-balanced palate. It can be drunk with a wide variety of dishes, from pasta and cold meats, and is perfect with roast beef.

Phoenix is cool fresh white wine with a green/gold colour, with a Sauvignon character and a the flowery tones of a Reisling. Reminiscent of some of the Loire whites from France, but with a very English character, giving tones of nettle and elderflower. Enjoy it with cold meats, pasta and more... or just sit out on a summer's evening and drink it with a few olives.
