Totteridge Farm
Camping Pod site progress
We've started!
Take one strip of grass in a Wiltshire field, with great views (even in February)...
Add a five ton excavator...
...and start cutting out an access track.
26 February
Dougie the Tree Surgeon arrives, and starts to make safe the dead and overhanging branches on the chestnut trees behind the pod sites
1st March
Digging the trench for the sewage treatment plant outflow
1st April
Drainage pipes are installed and buried in.
Pod sites are dug out, ready for a gravel base.
Electricity cables and water pipes have been dug in behind the pod sites.
The car parking area has been levelled and covered in scalpings, and can now be completed now that the water and electricity has been buried underneath.
Check out our latest video, showing the progress made on the pod site up to the end of March... the Vale of Pewsey's newest holiday accommodation is coming soon!
The first two pods arrived on 26th March, and have been temporarily located at the farm for checking, decoration and furnishing.
Our first guest moved in for five nights - a friend from Australia - and slept comfortably!
